Update: My new job

Thank you, friends for your prayers!
It still keeps me desperate with the Lord, yet I'm getting used to the job and it's not as intense & hectic as two weeks ago...! TYJ.

Now I'm working only weekends (Friday & Saturday after dinner, Sunday & Holiday half day)
Not so many hours = not so much income, however Jesus knows how to use my time and what is the best. :)

Pic is today's my lunch at the work place. (Today/Sunday I worked 12-7pm)
I/we can eat anything in the menu...not free but 25% off.

Kids pics

Yey, finally! Update!

Let's start from some kids' photos :)

"Today is a..."

"...nice day?"

Ray "Look! I caught a butterfly with a cup!"

My laptop

My laptop which was second hand but working pretty well last 13 months is now broken...
But sweet Jesus is sending me new one in 10 days or so through a sweet friend...! TYJ!

(Not free but this guy is giving me a very good deal, adding 50% discount! Cuz my last broken one was also from him so he said either he fixed old one free (takes long) or give me new one half price. How nice!)

If anyone wants to help me getting this new laptop financially, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
(I'm borrowing some from home for now since I had to pay last week or next chance would be in next year
...)

Please pray...

Some of you may already know but I've just started working part-time (baito)

The reason why is of course to increase home's income as a part of the offensive.
I'm thankful for the change program and indeed, it is a big change for me personally.
I never thought I would take secular job like this again... last time I was working to be paid was 7 years ago before I joined.

People seem to think that I should be able to get good-pay job since I'm Japanese yet can speak English with college graduate degree... but it's not that easy, especially when I want to work only after dinner somewhere close so that I don't have to leave my childcare ministry as well as less affect to home schedule.

So, I was looking for something "night time" "not bad pay" "near by".
And I've decided to work at family restaurant close to our home.

I expected to work later night like from 8pm-12, but right now, since I'm trainee, I'm not allow to work at that later time which is much better pay but work longer during cheaper earlier time...
It is a bit discouraging that I have to work longer for less pay and have to be away from my kids (students) as well as making home schedule tighter... (and feel like some ppl saying "see?!"...) but I have to hung on for now.

Please pray for me, that I will get used to this job quickly. Also good communication with Tencho and other co-workers. Thank you!

Fun family day with visitors

Tuesday-Wednesday
Oli & Lily family and Mike D & Aichan family from Noda came to visit our home
Cesco & Cryssy family and Sam & Leika family were all happy to have them

Oh, Kids were super cute together!

Math
4+3+7+3=17 children (actually -3 ; poor C&C's kids with asthma needed to rest)

It was quite fun and sweet to see the coolest daddies and the loveliest mommies
in this area
working and laughing together :)

Thanks a lot for coming, Noda team!

Happy Birthday, friend!

Happy Birthday, Chaitanya!

Since I met you in January 2006,
Even though I haven't been able to see you,
you've been a precious encouraging friend to me.

I'm proud of you and admire you for forsaking all
to follow the Lord to change the world in this family.

(
Congratulations & best wishes on your 3rd anniversary of the joining!)

You've been doing great as a Jesus' tool to find and save the lost.
I have no doubt that Jesus will use you even more
to make the offensive successful!

Thank you so much for being such a blessing & inspiration
for me as well as everyone knows you.

Don't forget to rest in the Lord, and keep going...
Love you!

Some quotes

You don't drown by falling in water; you only drown if you stay there. -Zig Ziglar

A boat is safe in the harbor. But this is not the purpose of a boat.

Not "I'm willing to change" but rather "I'm changing!"
